To complete your proposal, you need to do
secondary research to
- find out about the feasibility of your project
- limit your project’s scope and focus your
project
- gather information from various sources to see
what others have done with the project
- gather information for writing the background
section.
This week you will mainly work on the
Progress Report 1 Assignment. To do this you will:
- Submit the progress report (Task 1).
This will help you prepare to write the background section of the
proposal.
- Re-read the information about the background
section (Task 2) and get started writing a rough draft of
the background section -- it’s due next week.

because you will have a chance to read and summarize material you
need for writing your proposal (and final report).

because that will help me see what work you are completing and help
me see that your project is feasible.
