Overview
Front Matter:
Most final reports have front matter attached:
  1. Main Elements of the Completion Report
  2. Letter of Transmittal
  3. Title Page
  4. Abstract
  5. Executive summary

I gladly admit that most final reports do not have an abstract and an executive summary, but, for the purposes of this class, I want to give you practice with writing both along with the letter of transmittal.

NOTE:
Each of the pieces of front matter has a different purpose, audience, and level of technicality:
