Write a short memo about using the UI Library search engine to find journal articles for your project.

Note: Write this in memo format. Use sentences and paragraphs.

The purpose of this assignment:
a) to show you know how to use the UI Library search engine.
b) to begin to determine if your proposed topic is feasible (are there professional sources you can use to write your proposal and final report?).
c) to help you to focus and refine your proposed topic to prepare you to write the proposal and the progress report.
 

1. List two indexes you can use to find journal articles for your project.
2. How many articles did you find that are closely related to your project?
3. List three or more citations for articles that you think might be useful for your project.
4. Based on what you’ve found, do you think you have enough sources to research your project or do you need to refine your topic?
5. Based on what you have found, do you want to re-focus your project?  If yes, how?
6. How well did the instructions on using the UI Library search engine work for you?  Do you have questions about the procedure?
